Revelation on the Armor of God – for people with anxiety, depression or feeling like they are “not good enough”

I have read the scripture in Ephesians on the Armour of God many times before, but to be honest it has always been difficult for me to understand exactly how to apply it. But I have received some revelation on it recently, also on how to practically fight against depression and anxiety and other feelings of guilt, shame and “Not being good enough” using the truth in the Word of God. Read this for practical and easy to follow guidelines that could set you free! If you know anyone struggling with this, or also want some more revelation on the Armour of God, please read, share and forward to them. I feel no-one can walk one more day and stay standing without wearing their FULL armour in Christ, and understanding exactly how to put it on.

Dream: He will guide you through storms and show you the route

Last night I received a dream from the Lord, that was so clear and vivid, and He has revealed to me the meaning. Something that He has been telling me over and over, but life’s stresses and to-do lists and storms kept on coming in the way. It is the master key to walking your path that the Lord has pre-planned for you, through the waves and past the (seemingly unsurmountable) mountains that appear in front of you. It was so clear and so simple to do. Yet my flesh kept on interrupting, distracting and diverting me from the path the Lord has so clearly laid out. Please read about my dream and the scriptures and explanation that the Lord so plainly laid out to me. May it also unlock for you the perfect roadmap to YOUR life’s path.

Encounter the Lord every day, and He will give you the Weapons of the Age to Come…

This year started with so many overwhelming things that happened, problems and challenges coming at me from all directions, things not going according to plan, that my head was spinning!

What I realized is that the devil’s easiest weapon used against us believers is distraction. If he can keep me busy with all the things life throws at me, I won’t have time to spend in the presence of the Living God. Then my battle is lost. Because it is when I spend time reading God’s Word, surrendering to Him, praying, repenting, thanking Him for all my blessings, and in Praise and Worship that God is able to show me His path for my Life and the solutions to my perceived problems.

When I surrender my day completely to Him, He is able to do great miracles in a moment. Surrender all those things that are overwhelming you to God completely today.

The Message of Psalm 119

The author of the contemporary-language Bible translation The Message, Eugene Peterson, passed away recently on 22 October 2018. Even though his translation of the Bible is controversial and not welcomed by everyone, I for one like to read the Word of God and compare from different translations, in order to widen my understanding and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to me the truth of that moment. When I read this translation of Psalm 119 I was in complete agreement with the words towards God, and the journey the writer is describing in this Psalm. May we follow the Map of Your Word everyday, Lord, and not miss the road signs so clearly posted.

Read this wonderful Psalm showing a walk with God and study of His Word, a desire to follow God’s commands and the wise counsel in His Word, in spite of persecution, difficulties and trials.

How to release powerful arrows of Light and Blood against strongholds

Part of the reason I started this blog (diaryofhope.org), is because of the importance of giving our testimony, as stressed in several verses in the Bible. Testimony is a form of praise and honor to Christ. We also use it as a way to encourage others. And we can overcome the plans of the enemy by the blood of Christ and our testimony.

There are more ways we can triumph over the enemy and his plans, as outlined by this powerful vision by Mirjam Horak. We are called to pray specific scripture to release God’s light and blood into strongholds. Her vision is specific to South Africa, but the same principles and scriptures can be used in any situation.

Take your mind captive for healing and victory!

We live in a time where everyone is struggling with different diseases of the body and mind that are really taking people’s joy and shortening their lives. This past weekend the Lord has started speaking and confirming specific things to me so powerfully that I have to share them.
What if that disease (be it in your body or a mental illness that you have struggled with for so long) can be healed with Jesus’s help, who can give you the strength to take captive the thoughts in our own minds that are making us ill? The secret to our healing lies in our own minds, and what thoughts we choose to give energy to or not.

There are a video series by Pastor Miles McPherson of Rock Church, San DIego and a Podcast series by Dr Caroline Leaf, a cognitive neuroscientist, both given the same weekend, on different continents, speaking about the influence you have to change your thoughts, your mind and your physical brain (which controls the rest of your body) in the process. Intrigued yet?

Your blessings may come through unanswered prayers

It’s devastating when we don’t see God’s answers to our prayers. “We cry in anger when we cannot feel Him near.” What if the very thing that is best for us isn’t the same as what we’re praying for? So if He isn’t answering our prayers how we think He should, does that mean He isn’t answering? Or could it be something else? Could it possibly be that He’s really blessing us?
