I wanted to share a revelation I received today.
I came home after work yesterday and was making a salad. I was in a bit of a rush to get to an appointment and as I put my glass container in the sink it slipped out of my hands and fell on the floor.
It broke and shattered into many many pieces, and it cut my foot slightly as a broken piece pierced my foot when it fell. I cleaned up my cut as I was bleeding, swept the floor, ate my salad real quick and ran out to my appointment.
As I left for my appointment, I thought to myself I better mop the floor once I get home to get any and all of the shattered pieces that may remain but invisible, as to not step on one as I like to walk barefoot.
When I got home I forgot to wear flip flops before I mopped the floor… out of habit of walking barefoot…
Sure enough in the short walk through the kitchen to get my mop out of the laundry room I stepped on the tiniest most miniscule piece of glass and it cut my heel… it took a second to get it out as it was invisible to the human eye but wow I sure felt the prick of it and I even got a tiny bit of blood.
Why am I sharing this?
Well on my way to work today the Holy Spirit downloaded a revelation about this incident to me. He said the broken glass/the container you broke is your past…. but it is so important to get all the shattered glass out of your life so it can’t hurt you in your NEW… and just as you experienced the tiniest little prick of that invisible miniscule piece of glass on your foot…so am I mopping and cleaning out even the smallest imperfections in your life before you step into the new…
Many think they are ready but those little glass pieces are so small they are not visible to the naked eye… but I see and know all…
You see even the most miniscule trace of your pain, shattered brokenness can hurt you in your future…and the plans I have for you would suffer…
For God takes His time to make all things perfect….
Be patient and trust God…he’s perfecting you…and NEVER EVER LOOK BACK AT YOUR PAST OR IT WILL PRICK AND POKE YOU AND YES IT WILL MAKE YOU BLEED…
GOD HAS TAKEN US OUT OF THE PAST FOR A REASON…DO NOT LOOK BACK…BUT LOOK FORWARD TO A NEW PERFECTED LIFE IN CHRIST…
WOW GOD WAS STERN ABOUT HIS COMMAND TO NOT LOOK BACK…THAT PASSAGE ALWAYS GRIPS ME…
LET THE PAST GO AND BE PATIENT WITH GOD TO CLEAN OUT ALL OF THE BROKENNESS AND IMPERFECTIONS IN YOUR LIFE…
HE IS MAKING YOU A CLEAN AND PERFECT BRIDE IN HIM!
IT WAS JUST THREE WORDS, AND ONE OF THE SHORTEST BIBLE VERSES AND YET SO POWERFUL!
NONE OF US WANT TO TURN INTO A PILLAR OF SALT…
MAY THE LORD HAVE HIS PERFECT WILL AND HE SHALL FINISH WHAT HE STARTED…TRUST HIM AND BE PATIENT…
THERE IS MUCH TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN THE NEW…SO GO ON AND SMILE FRIENDS GOD IS GOOD!
